1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. nuts, chopped coarse
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, well beaten, and vanilla. Mix rest of ingredients and add to butter mixture. Pour into well buttered tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
