GINGER WAFERS 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
Sugar for coating

Sift flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt onto waxed paper. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and molasses. Stir in flour mixture until well blended.

Roll dough in small balls. Roll each in sugar to coat. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 13 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
