EASIER - THAN - EVER CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup, undrained 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional) 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut in thin slices Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Pour undrained pineapple into pan; spread evenly. Put in pie filling and spread into even layer over pineapple. Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer; spread evenly. Sprinkle chopped nuts over cake mix. Put butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm or cooled. |
