SHERRIED BEEF 
3 lbs. sirloin, cut in 1" cubes (you may substitute stew meat)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cans mushrooms
1/2 pkg. onion soup mix
1/3 c. dry vermouth
1/3 c. sherry

Mix all together and bake 5 hours at 300 degrees. I serve over wide egg noodles. Vermouth cooking wine and sherry cooking wine work very well.
