HAWAIIAN PORK CHOPS 
6 loin chops
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. cloves, ground
1/4 c. pineapple juice
1 sm. green pepper
3 slices pineapple

Brown chops thoroughly without added fat, salt. Add 1/4 cup water, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Remove chops. Mix dry ingredients, add remaining liquid with green pepper and pineapple, cut in large pieces. Simmer until thick, stirring constantly. Add chops, let simmer 10 minutes. Serve over steamed rice.
