GRANDMA'S RUBY'S JERSEY CORN
CRISP
 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. molasses
1 c. water
Salted peanuts
Popcorn, about 3 poppers full
1/2 stick butter
Salt

Boil and stir down crystals until thermometer reaches 290 degrees. Add 1/2 sticks butter and a pinch of salt. Boil until it reaches 300 degrees. Pour over popcorn. Stir until popcorn is well coated. Store in a glass jar or plastic bag, and corn will keep for a long time. Tastes like Cracker Jacks.
