NEVER FAIL ROAST BEEF | |
Dad White used to say "This meat is so tough you can't cut the broth!" But if anyone else was to dare say the meat was tough, he'd respond with "TOUGHER WHEN THERE AIN'T ANY". For those times when you want roast beef but must be gone all day. Take any size beef roast. Cover with dry onion soup mix. In the morning, place in preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour. Turn oven off. Leave roast in oven all day, with the door closed. Heat 20 minutes at 375 degrees before serving. This is so-o-o-o good! And the onion soup mix makes excellent gravy. |
