GREAT GRANDMA'S ESCALLOPED EGGS
WITH CHEESE
 
6 hard boiled eggs
2 c. white sauce
2 c. buttered bread crumbs
1 c. cheese

WHITE SAUCE:

4 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. oil
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Grate cheese and add to white sauce. Cut eggs in slices. Butter baking dish and add in layers. Bread crumbs in bottom and on top. Bake until crumbs are brown. Serve hot. From Great Grandma Kunst.
