THIN KICHEL COOKIES 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. oil
1 beaten egg with 4 tsp. water

Stir together. Then add:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Cinnamon sugar

Knead carefully. Roll with floured rolling pin very thin. Cut into shapes and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake 350°F for 25 minutes.

I'm very much a novice when it comes to baking but this recipe is very easy to make and I got very good kichels the first time to eat with chopped herring. Thank you for sharing this recipe, this would definitely be my go to recipe when I make kichels.
