MEAT PIE | |
2 lbs. hamburg 1 onion, diced 6 oz. herb seasoned bread crumbs 2 to 3 med. potatoes, cooked and mashed 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 (8 inch) pie crust (for top crust) 1/2 c. water (to moisten bread crumbs) Brown hamburg and onion; drain. Add seasonings. Add bread crumbs moistened with 1/2 cup water. Mash potatoes and add to meat mixture. Divide between 2 pie shells. Add top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Brush crust with milk before baking. One pie can be frozen. |
