ILLINOIS CHAMPION HONEY GLAZED LOIN ROAST | |
2 (14 inch) boneless pork loins 3 cloves garlic 4 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning 4 tsp. salt 4 tsp. freshly ground pepper 1 c. honey 3 c. cola Rub loins with cut cloves of garlic and season with mixture of Beau Monde seasoning, salt and pepper. Rub in. Tie loins together, place in plastic bag and refrigerate overnight. Put on spit. Roast 2 to 2 1/2 hours over moderate heat or until meat thermometer reads 170 degrees. Pork must be thoroughly done and there should be no pink color. Baste every 15 minutes of roasting time with honey cola sauce. Serves 8 to 12. |
