VEGETABLE STRATA 
4 slices wheat bread
4 slices white bread
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 c. cooked vegetables (good way to use leftovers)
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. spicy brown mustard
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Pinch salt
1 tbsp. butter

Grease shallow 2 quart oval casserole dish. Remove crust from bread and cut into cubes. Stir onion into vegetables. Place half of bread on bottom of casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese and the vegetables. Top with remaining bread cubes. In large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Pour egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and dot with butter. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Bake 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
