MOLASSES COOKIES 
2 egg yolks, save whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. lard-- crisco may be used
3/4 c. molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
pinch of salt
1 c. boiling water with 2 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients together. Add flour enough to thicken to roll out dough. Cut with cookie cutter according to the seasons.

Bake 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes. Frost the baked cookies with 7 minute frosting.
