HAWAII PINEAPPLE MEATBALLS 
1/2 c. milk
1 slice bread
2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
2 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of garlic salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 beef bouillon cube
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 sm. can pineapple chunks
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Combine milk, bread, beef, egg, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Mix well. Form meatballs. Brown well in 2 tablespoons butter. Drain off fat. Dissolve bouillon cube in 1 cup boiling water. Add soy sauce, pineapple, green pepper, vinegar, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt and simmer. Add a little cold water to cornstarch. Blend till smooth. Add to sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear. Pour over meatballs. Simmer 15 to 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings. Good over bed of wild rice or long grain rice. Mix together.
