VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. milk
1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 (7 oz.) pkg. or 2 cans coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla flavoring. Alternate with milk and vanilla wafers. Add coconut and pecans. Cook 90 minutes at 275°F. Better check for doneness earlier! Put in a greased and floured tube pan or loaf pan. I use a Bundt pan. Grease, flour and then spray lightly with Pam so it will come out better.
