1 box German chocolate cake or devil's food mix
12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
40 caramels
1 c. pecans
6 Hershey bars or 1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cake with 8 ounces evaporated milk. Pour half of it into pan. Bake 10-15 minutes. Melt caramels with rest of evaporated milk in microwave about 5 minutes, stirring often or use a heavy pot. Careful -HOT! Pour carefully over cake. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips, then rest of cake. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Put Hershey bars or chips over when done. If chips or bars will not spread (either of the layers), put in pan for a few minutes and let bake to thin it. Then try to spread smooth. This is quick and easy. Cut into small pieces. Very rich!
