1 lg. pkg. Oreos
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
3 c. milk
1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 sticks butter

Crush Oreos and mix with 1/2 stick softened butter. Use 3/4 of this mixture for the bottom crust, 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix together cream cheese, Cool Whip, 1 stick butter and powdered sugar until smooth.

In separate bowl mix together pudding, milk and vanilla. Blend cheese and pudding mixtures, spread over crust. Put remaining Oreos on top. Chill and serve.
