KANSAS DIRT CAKE 
1 sm. pkg. Oreo cookies
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. confectioners' sugar
8 oz. carton Cool Whip
2 (3 1/2 oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk

Crush cookies and spread 1/2 over bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix cream cheese and butter with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar, then fold in Cool Whip.

In separate bowl, combine pudding mix, vanilla, and milk until smooth and mixture begins to thicken. Fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture. Spread over cookie crumbs and sprinkle rest of crumbs over top. Freeze overnight; let set at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
