APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced, pared, cored, baking apples
2/3 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. soft butter

Place in greased 8 inch pan all the apples. Blend all other ingredients until crumbly, then spread over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Bake until apples are tender and top is golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream, ice cream or hard sauce.
