RUM NUT CAKE | |
3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding 4 lg. eggs 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. rum Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sprinkle nuts evenly over a greased and floured tube pan. Set aside. Combine all remaining ingredients. Mix slowly to blend, then mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter carefully over nuts. Bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes and remove from pan. Serves 12 to 16. |
