SPICED YOGURT POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 1/4 c. flour or 1 c. flour, 1 c. whole wheat flour, 1/4 c. wheat germ
1 c. plain yogurt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Flour and grease 10-inch Bundt pan. In a large bowl mix at medium speed, sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add all other ingredients; mix at low speed, scraping constantly. Increase to high speed - Important!! - and beat for 4 minutes.

Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes and remove. Cool completely on rack. Excellent with almond flavored whipping cream.
