TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 eggs, beaten

Bring butter, oil, water, and cocoa to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Add buttermilk and eggs. Beat thoroughly and pour into a greased 12 x 16 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING:

Bring 1 stick butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1/3 cup milk to a boil. Add 1 (1 pound) box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and pour over cake right after you take it from the oven.
