TEMPTING TACO MELTS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
1/3 c. syrup
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
4 hamburger buns, split
1 tomato, cut into 8 slices
1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded or cheese slices
Sour cream
Black olives, sliced

Brown ground beef with onion, drain. Add beans, syrup and taco mix; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until liquid is partially reduced. For each serving, arrange 1/3 cup bean on each bun half. Add cheese. Bake until cheese is melted. Serve with tomato, sour cream and black olives, if desired. (8 open-faced sandwiches.)
