LINDA'S PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. fat or butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, halved
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 beef bouillon cube
1 c. hot water
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. green pepper
1 lb. beef sirloin

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Cut sirloin into 1/4 inch strips. Brown slowly in hot fat or butter for 15 minutes with onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon in hot water and add to meat with stewed tomatoes. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes. Slice pepper into strips and add to meat. Cook until peppers are done.

Combine sauce ingredients. Add slowly to meat and peppers, stirring continuously. Cook for 5 minutes more. Serve with noodles or rice. Serves 4.
