2 sticks butter
1/2 c. cocoa
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves or allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and cocoa together. Set aside. Mix dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, soda, and vanilla. Add cocoa mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until top springs back to touch. Frost it with the following fudge recipe frosting.
