1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. butter
1 lg. egg

Beat in large mixing bowl until blended. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan, pressing corners well.

Beat 2 large eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 teaspoon vanilla and 16 ounce cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

Spread over crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until set. Cool.

Mix 2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Spread over cheesecake; spread cherry pie filling over top. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Serves 16-18.
