RUM BALLS 
25 vanilla wafers, crumbled
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. corn syrup
Powdered sugar
1 c. walnuts or pecans, finely chopped
1/3 c. dark rum 80-100 proof

Mix all ingredients except powdered sugar. Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight container in refrigerator or cool place. Rum balls are best if allowed to mellow about 2 weeks. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
