HONEY CAKE 
2 c. med. rye flour
2/3 c. honey
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 eggs

About 3 1/2 hours before serving:

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Grease and flour 8x8 inch baking pan. In large bowl with mixer at low speed, beat all ingredients until well mixed, constantly scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake 65 to 75 minutes.
