APPLESAUCE MARBLE SALAD 
2 pkgs. (or 1 lg.) lemon Jello
Dash salt
3 c. water in which 1/2 c. "red hots" have been dissolved
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. applesauce

MARBLE MIX:

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1/4 c. milk or cream
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Dissolve Jello in near boiling water. Add salt, applesauce and lemon juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Soften cream cheese with milk and add nuts. Swirl through to marble.
