ORANGE-APPLESAUCE SALAD | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin 1 (8 oz.) can applesauce 1 apple 1/2 c. lemon-lime carbonated beverage or cold water Put orange flavored gelatin into the mixing bowl. Put 1 1/2 cups of water in saucepan on high heat until boiling. Measure 1 cup boiling water into gelatin. Stir until gelatin dissolves. Stir in applesauce until mixed. Place in refrigerator. Wash and core apple. Cut into bite-size pieces. Remove bowl from refrigerator. Stir in apple pieces and the lemon-lime beverage or cold water. Pour mixture into 4 small bowls. Place bowls in refrigerator and chill until firm, about 3 hours. Makes 4 servings. |
