ORANGE DROP COOKIES 
1 orange
1 c. butter or shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder

Grind orange rind and all, pick out seeds. Cream together butter with sugar, eggs, and orange.

Sift together flour, soda, and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to mixture alternating with 1 cup sweet milk. Chill for 2-3 hours. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes then cool and frost. (Pineapple may be used instead of orange.)

ORANGE FROSTING:

1 orange rind and all
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. powdered sugar

Grind orange rind and all. Add butter and sugar. Mix until smooth. Makes 4-6 dozen cookies.
