ORANGE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. orange juice
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend shortening, sugar, salt and eggs, orange rind and juice. Stir in dry ingredients. Blend well. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Ice while warm with icing that follows: 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. butter (oleo or butter Crisco) 1/2 tsp. orange rind 1 tbsp. orange juice

Mix together and spread on warm cookies.
