EASY LASAGNE | |
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes 2 level tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated 1 lb. Ricotta cheese 1/2 to 3/4 box lasagne Brown ground beef in skillet. Season with salt, pepper, garlic and oregano. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and sauce and blend well. Cover and simmer slowly for 15 minutes. Prepare lasagne as directed on box. Rinse and drain. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Fill pan alternately with first, a layer of lasagne topped with Mozzarella cheese with dabs of Ricotta cheese on top of this. Pour over this some of the meat mixture from the skillet and sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese. Repeat this procedure until all ingredients are used. End with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes until lasagne is hot and bubbly. |
