SOUR CREAM PASTRIES | |
3 sticks butter 4 c. flour 2 egg yolks, beaten 1 pt. sour cream 2 c. sugar 4 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. walnuts, crushed Mix flour and butter. Beat egg yolks and add to flour mixture. Add sour cream. Knead mixture to smooth consistency. Divide dough in half and wrap in floured wax paper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Divide again, roll out in circle. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and walnuts which have been combined. Cut circle into wedges and roll individually from wide end to point. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet, approximately 40 minutes. Remove immediately from sheet. |
