SMOKED SAUSAGE SAUERKRAUT
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. smoked sausage
1 can sauerkraut
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. water
1 potato, grated
1 carrot, grated
pinch of salt
1/3 c. sugar
2 onions, chopped

Heat oil in skillet and fry chopped onions. Add sauerkraut and simmer for 2 minutes. Add water and sausage; cook until done. Stir in grated potato, carrot, salt and sugar. Cook 4 to 5 additional minutes.
