Have created this for years. I simply use the ketchup & horseradish. You can prepare exactly to your taste. Hard to believe that something so simple - cost so much when purchased.

Easy recipe. I didn't have any horseradish so used stone ground mustard and it worked fine. A keeper.

When I worked at Outback Steakhouse, we always made our cocktail sauce (as in the servers) when customers wanted it. The only other thing we added was a dash of Worcestershire sauce. But as this recipe shows, it's fine without it too!

This is a very old recipe, but it is the best. I have used it for many, many years. It is also good served as a dip when serving cheese, especially Swiss cheese.
