HOLIDAY RAISIN PIE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, separated
1 c. sour cream
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. cloves

Mix cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and add beaten egg yolk. Mix well and add sour cream, raisins, lemon juice and cook until thickened. Cool, add nuts, pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.

MERINGUE: Beat 2 egg whites, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar. Whip egg whites until stiff, add rest and beat until egg whites stand up on their own. Put on pie and brown in oven.
