HOLIDAY NUT PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c.milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Beat eggs slightly. Stir in all ingredients except walnuts. Mix well. Stir in chopped walnuts. Place pie shell on oven rack; pour filling into shell. To prevent over-browning, cover edges with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, or until knife comes out clean. Cool thoroughly on rack before serving. Garnish with whipped cream if desired. Cover, chill to store.
