BAKED FISH STICKS (Or Fish
Cakes)
 
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp. chopped scallions or chives
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. Cheddar cheese, grated (be more generous if you like Cheddar)
Pkg. of 16 frozen fish sticks (or 8 sm. fish cakes)
Paprika (to sprinkle)

Place fish in a shallow buttered baking dish (8x13 inch).

Mix celery soup with milk and measure out a cupful. Discard the rest (or drink it). Add chives, lemon juice and cheese to the soup and milk mixture. Pour it over the fish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 4.
