1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. powdered sugar 1/4 to 1/3 sq. Gulf wax 1 tsp. vanilla In a large bowl mix coconut, Eagle Brand milk, vanilla, salt and powdered sugar. Form into balls the size of walnuts. (It's easier to form balls if hands have powdered sugar on them.) Refrigerate balls a few hours (at least two). Melt chocolate chips and wax in double boiler. Roll balls in chocolate and place on wax paper. Makes about 4 1/2 - 5 dozen. Shady Oaks Elem. |
