QUICK 'N EASY OL' FASHION
BISCUITS
 
2 c. self rising flour
6 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk (or buttermilk)

Cut or rub shortening into flour. Add milk to make soft dough. Knead lightly; roll 1/4 inch thick. Cut and bake at 450 degrees. Makes 24 1 3/4-inch biscuits.
