U.S.A.: COCONUT MACAROONS 
2 eggs, divided
1 c. sugar
3 (3 1/2 oz.) pkgs. flaked coconut
1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites stiff; set aside. Beat egg yolks well. Add sugar, beat until thick. Add coconut, flour and extract until well blended. Fold in beaten egg whites. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on well greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are brown. Remove cookies to cool on wire racks. About 4 dozen.
