CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Do not preheat oven! Cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and softened cream cheese until creamy and smooth. Slowly add flour, mixing until well blended. Pour into treated bundt pan or small loaf pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN! Bake loaf pans 1 hour. Serve with any number of toppings or delicious all by itself.

It took 3 hours to cook and by that time the crust was too well done. I ended up reducing the temp to 300°F for the next hour and a half. The recipe is confusing in that it calls for a tube pan or small loaf pan. Then it uses pans in the plural sense. Maybe it would have done better as two loaf pans. The cake minus the overdone crust itself was pretty good.
