1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
Vanilla

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Combine all ingredients and pour into 2 (9 inch) pastry pie shells. Add following topping and bake in preheated oven.

TOPPING:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup hot water

Bake for about 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
