CHERRY PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 sticks butter

Pour undrained pineapple into pan, cover with cherry pie filling mix. Do not stir. Sprinkle cake mix and nuts over top. Sliver butter and lay on top of cake mix. May use coconut. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour or 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
