GLAZED CRANBERRY DATE BARS 
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. fresh cranberries, halved
1/2 c. sliced dates
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Grated rind of one orange

Beat eggs with sugars until light and foamy. Sift dry ingredients together and blend into egg sugar mixture, mixing well. Stir in fruit and nuts. Bake in greased 9 x 9 pan at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.

Combine 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar and 1 tablespoon orange or lemon juice. Brush over warm bars after removing from oven. Cool and cut into bars.
