THE BEST SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lg. can Pope peeled tomatoes
1 jar your favorite spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. white cooking wine
5 cloves garlic (minced)
1 bay leaf
1/4 c. olive oil
To taste: Salt, pepper, oregano, basil, red pepper

Dice up the whole tomatoes and set aside.

In a large skillet brown garlic and spices in the olive oil - careful not to let the garlic get more than light brown. Immediately add the diced tomatoes with their liquid, the jar of sauce and the wine. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve on anything you like with spaghetti sauce!!

The jar of spaghetti sauce is optional if you want a thicker sauce. However if you leave it out you then have a really light and scrumptious marinara sauce!!
