THE FAMOUS RO-TEL CHEESE DIP RECIPE | |
1 (10 oz.) can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies 1 lb. pasteurized process cheese spread, (Velveeta, Kraft or any other block cheese) To one can Rotel tomatoes, add 1 lb. cheese which has to be melted in double boiler. Microwave directions: Cut cheese into cubes or slices, place cheese and tomatoes in covered casserole dish for 10 to 12 minutes on medium power until cheese is melted. Serving tips: serve warm as a dip with tortilla chips, corn chips, or crackers. Also great as a sauce over meats and vegetables. Try your own variations: add any of the following to the basic cheese dip recipe: browned and drained sausage or hamburger, chicken, bacon pieces, fresh vegetables, or beans. Or any combination of the items would also be good. |
