THE FAMOUS RO-TEL CHEESE DIP
RECIPE
 
1 (10 oz.) can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies
1 lb. pasteurized process cheese spread, (Velveeta, Kraft or any other block cheese)

To one can Rotel tomatoes, add 1 lb. cheese which has to be melted in double boiler. Microwave directions: Cut cheese into cubes or slices, place cheese and tomatoes in covered casserole dish for 10 to 12 minutes on medium power until cheese is melted.

Serving tips: serve warm as a dip with tortilla chips, corn chips, or crackers. Also great as a sauce over meats and vegetables.

Try your own variations: add any of the following to the basic cheese dip recipe: browned and drained sausage or hamburger, chicken, bacon pieces, fresh vegetables, or beans. Or any combination of the items would also be good.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
