BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 1/3 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate bits
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. vinegar

Combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt. Beat well with mixer. STIR in chocolate chip bits with spoon. Sift together 1 and 1/2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat well with mixer. Fill muffin liners half full with flour mixture. In middle, place 3/4 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
