CRESCENT TEACAKES 
1 c. soft butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Powdered sugar to roll cookies in
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and powdered sugar; add remaining ingredients; mix well. Shape into crescents (or balls); place on cookie sheets close together; bake 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes (light brown on bottom); cool just a bit, then roll in powdered sugar three times as they cool down; makes 75.
